SEED, or Science Education and Employment Development, is a partnership between Imperial Oil and Six Nations of the Grand River Territory. SEED designs and implements educational initiatives that are focused on providing Six Nations of the Grand River Territory people with the skills needed for careers with Imperial Oil, the petroleum industry and other manufacturing industries.

SEED initiative helps Six Nations of the Grand River Territory members qualify for technology courses through programs at Six Nations Polytechnic, including the Native Diploma Access Program. Financial support is also available to students attending designated college technology programs to cover the cost of books and tuition. The courses include:

Science and technology programs for young students, like the SEED-sponsored Science Day Camp held in the summer and the STAY in School awards honouring top marks in high school math and science, are also available.
